About RVR

RVR is an early stage start up with secured funding currently operating in stealth mode. We are seeking to re-imagine how we handle, manage, and interact with our data, documents, and folder structures. We are developing a bio-inspired method for handling complex data structures to make navigating a them more effective and intuitive, resulting in a richer experience. We bring data to life by using interactive objects to animate data structures, improving on current data management tools and anticipating a future in with Virtual Reality is ubiquitous in the work place. As we are in stealth mode, further details of the product will be given after signing a Non Disclosure Agreement.

Who we are looking for:

Ideally someone with a STEM background with a good grasp of mathematics and a good abilities in coding (ideally in Go, Rust, or C++ but Python will also be considered with the right credentials). We are looking for someone who would rather develop an elegant solution on paper before coding it up, over creating a brute force algorithm. As the position will carry a high degree of autonomy as well as impact on the product, we are looking for people who are self motivated, creative problem solvers. Additionally we are looking for people who know when to ask for help and are willing to help others.

The Role

Hires will have a significant impact on the product being developed and its future direction. They will interact closely with customers for ideation of features required for expansion into new markets for the product. Primary activities will be:

  • Brainstorming, exploring and creating proof of concepts for expansion of 'backend' analysis features

  • Expansion of data analysis, and indexing techniques

  • Expansion of integrations of decentralized data storage technologies

  • Development of layout algorithms using mathematical/geometric principles.

  • Development of long running microservices and notification systems.

  • Investigation and development of integrations with different Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, and AI driven Translation systems to augment the analytical capabilities of the RVR platform.

As we are in Beta development initial work will focus on “fundamental” tasks. This will ensure we have a robust base to be able connect additional analysis frameworks to. In order to make sure we are building on good foundations, we are looking for intellectually flexible individuals interested in building skills in new areas.
